Please read the following Terms and Conditions before contacting me.

All prospective equipment rental customers are thoroughly screened. There is a one-time $20 account set-up fee for new customers.
All items are rented by the hour with a 24-hour min. meaning you pay for 24 hours even if you return the equipment sooner.

I only accept Cash, Checks, PayPal or Zelle. Sorry, I do not take credit or debit cards.

I only rent to amateur and professional photographers who are at least 21 years old with a valid Texas Drivers License and reside in the north Texas area. If you meet these prerequisites, please email the 4 items listed below to tim@dfwphotopro.com using your primary email address. Proxy applications on behalf of others is not permitted.

1. Photo or scan of your valid Texas Driver License.
2. If your current home address differs from what is shown on your Texas Driver License, please provide a photo or scan of a document showing your current home address.
3. Mobile phone number and landline number (if any).
4. Full name and phone numbers of two local personal, business or professional references (no relatives please).

This is the first step in becoming a "Trusted Rental Customer". I will perform a background check on you. The background check may consist of, but not limited to, a Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal History Search. Assuming your background check shows no criminal history, I will then contact your references. I will ask them if they consider you a trustworthy person and be willing to vouch for you. If I get positive responses, I will contact you to schedule a date and time for you to pick up the equipment. Pick up and return occurs at my location only. My address and contact information is shown below. Any equipment rented from me may not be taken outside of the north Texas area. Renter agrees to be financially responsible for any damage or loss of equipment while in their possession. This may include up to the full replacement value of the equipment. Renter agrees to maintain control of the equipment at all times and not allow use of it by others.

Trust is key in the rental business. Once you have completed your first rental, I will consider you a "Trusted Rental Customer". For future rentals, you will only need to pay the 24-hour minimum rental fee at pick up and pay for any hours over the minimum upon return of the equipment. Maximum rental time is 7 days (168 hours). Please seek lease arrangements from others for longer periods. I reserve the right, at any time, to revoke an individual's "Trusted Rental Customer" status without explanation.

Renters are expected to have at least a moderate knowledge level relative to the use of any equipment they rent from me. I do not provide formal instructions or tutoring on the use of my equipment. I reserve the right not to rent to total novices. The camera bodies and some of the other equipment come with instruction manuals.

My normal business hours are 7am to 9pm seven days a week. However, I may consider pick up and return appointments outside of these hours but I will have to charge a $20 off-hours fee. Please do not come to my location without an appointment. You should schedule appointments well in advance since I may not be available on short notice.

Pick up and return of equipment is by appointment only at my location.

At time of pick up...

Rental customers who plan to rent equipment in excess of the 24 hour minimum have the option to prepaid for those extra hours at the time of pick up. If the equipment is returned prior to the end of the planned rental period, the balance will be refunded. Upon return of the equipment the renter shall pay for any unpaid hours. Rental time will be calculated to the nearest hour from pick up time to return time.

All equipment is subject to availability. Existing "Trusted Rental Customers" may reserve equipment for a future date. First-time rental customers may reserve equipment for a future date by paying a $20 reservation deposit via PayPal to tim@dfwphotopro.com. This amount will be applied to your initial rental charge.
